|
|
|
I've broken my own rule about giving priority to submitting new material to publications versus submitting reprints. After Crystalwizard, the managing editor of Abandoned Towers, asked permission to reprint my fairies and dragons illustrations, I couldn't resist sending her a hearty helping of prevously-published poems as well.
So, several of my previously-published poems and illustrations now appear in the on-line version of the zine Abandoned Towers:

"Gothic Window" and its accompanying illustration, "Things in the Swamp" and its accompanying illustration, "Sorcerous Evolution" and its accompanying illustration, "The Banshee's Cry", and "The Haunted Isle" all appear in the "Poetry" section. My science-fiction poem "Cosmic Journey" appears in the "Science-Fiction" section.
Just click on the links for the appropriate sections on the Abandoned Towers home page, and then click on the links for the individual works. Be sure to check 'em out, since some of the works hadn't appeared on-line before their publication in Abandoned Towers. _________________ Richard H. Fay - Azure Lion Productions

|

|
The managing editor of Abandoned Towers has decided to use several examples of my artwork on Abandoned Towers Zazzle merchandise. At least one of the images appeared on Flashing Swords Zazzle merchandise (since deleted from the storefront), but most of the material is new to merchandise.
Please take a look at the Abandoned Towers Zazzle gallery here:

Feel free to leave comments, or join the fan club! And, of course, consider purchasing some examples of merchandise featuring artwork by yours truly. I personally think the stein featuring the unicorn image is especially nice, although the wyvern t-shirt is cool, too. _________________ Richard H. Fay - Azure Lion Productions

The first Niteblade anthology, Lost Innocence: A Niteblade Anthology 2007-2008 is now available here:

It features, among other fine fantasy and horror works, my dark speculative poem "Corpse-Candles". _________________ Richard H. Fay - Azure Lion Productions

Thanks!
As for being unstoppable, not really. All it will take is a string of rejections to bring my roll to a screeching halt. Running out of stuff to send out will do it, too. Right now I have very little to add to my submission pool.
Lately, I've found myself doing more art than poetry. It's hard to keep an even balance beyween the two.
Still, poetry and art are both creative endeavours. _________________ Richard H. Fay - Azure Lion Productions

Thanks!
And now for another brag...
Three of my horrorku appear in Issue Four of the horror e-zine THE MONSTERS NEXT DOOR:
http://themonstersnextdoor.com/fay.html
One in particular is especially timely for the season, since I mention a "harvest moon" (the harvest moon being the full moon nearest the autumnal equinox).
As a matter of fact, tonight's full moon may just be the harvest moon. How cool is that? _________________ Richard H. Fay - Azure Lion Productions
