I'm glad I didn't read the teaser line - I jumped right into the story and the jarring revelation snuck up on me as a total surprise. Solid writing, Terry. Lots of feeling and emotion, and the story moved along quite nicely. Congrats. _________________ Lyn Perry from ResAliens

It worked very well to set this in the present - no spooky music or weirdness at the beginning, just a normal story. It felt very real.
Which is maybe the scariest part. I can imagine someone actually trying this - maybe they have! It's not speculative anymore. _________________ Sola Gratia |

resaliens,
Thanks for the compliments. I'm glad the ending showed up as a surprise.
Resha Caner,
I'm glad the modern day, this isn't too far out, came through.
Thank you both for reading and taking the time to comment.
